This is NOT a hate site. It is NOT an anti-Al Franken
site. It is NOT intended to defame,
denounce or demonize Al Franken (okay, maybe a little demonizing). With that out of the way, the
mission of this website can be summed up in six words: The
other side of the story. Al Franken proudly displays
Fox's famous "Fair and Balanced" slogan in the title of his latest
book, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them. Though the title as a whole is obviously intended to be
facetious, the content of this website fulfills the objective of offering
rebuttals to Al Franken's aggressive observations of various people and
issues. The problem with political commentaries, enlightening and informative
though they are, is their biased nature. There is much to be learned from
books like Lies... and Rush
Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot, but they
are flawed in the sense that the subjects of these books are incapable of
defending themselves within the pages that accuse them. Unless the reader
voluntarily chooses to seek out the intended context of Franken's targets,
one might interpret his words to be indisputable. This website serves as a
resource to those interested in learning how one in disagreement with Al
Franken might respond to many of his claims and accusations. As
the creator, author and maintainer of this website, I do not claim my
arguments to be superior to or more accurate than those of Al Franken, but I
do offer them with the highest confidence and the assurance that they hold
the same level of legitimacy. Every claim on this website is supported by
research and reason, and my goal is to stimulate deep thought and broadened
consideration in all who study these rebuttals beside the original arguments.
I only ask that you keep an open mind, consider both sides of the arguments,
and draw your own conclusions based on your analyses of opposing
perspectives, as opposed to the limited knowledge that comes from hearing
only side of any story. If you are a fan or admirer of Al Franken and are
nonetheless taking the time to read this material objectively, I commend you
